We will create a roadmap for our work together, leading us in reflection each session.
One of my core specialties is supporting Women and Non-Binary individuals through significant life transitions and identity work. Whether you are navigating graduation, parenthood, a career pivot, or a shift in relationship status, these milestones often surface profound questions about who you are. Our work may focus on providing a steady, non-judgmental space to process change, or we may dive deeper into the attachment dynamics that influence how you move through the world. Whatever the path, you don’t have to navigate these shifts alone.
1:1 Psychotherapy
I specialize in Family Therapy with an emphasis on caregiver mental health, family attachment patterns, and parent coaching. I do not provide individual therapy for children, but my work often fills a crucial gap for families whose children (of any age) are in therapy and who want to strengthen the whole family system. This support is also useful for parents of adult children who want a different kind of relationship and need a place to begin.
Parenting is deeply influenced by how we were parented. You may recognize patterns you want to break but feel unsure how to create something different. Whether your child is a toddler or an adult, it’s never too late to build a healthier connection. We begin by focusing on your healing, which in turn supports the well-being of the entire family.
*More than one caregiver can be present for these sessions.
Family Therapy
I am an Endorsed Infant Mental Health Specialist and Reflective Supervisor through COAIMH and provide RSC for those pursuing endorsement. I also offer supervision that meets DORA guidelines for Licensed Professional Counselor Candidates.
My supervision centers on a reflective approach, prioritizing development of your clinical reflective capacity so you can foster the same in your clients. RSC supports mitigation of burnout and compassion fatigue, strengthens clinical confidence and decision-making, and deepens awareness of implicit biases, emotions, and behaviors. Supervision additionally includes case consultation, refinement of clinical interventions, and examination of ethical issues through an anti-racism lens.
Reflective Supervision & Consultation
If you do not see yourself or your needs reflected in these services, I am happy to offer referrals. Please fill out the form on the contact page.
“In my early professional years I was asking the question, How can I treat, or cure, or change this person? Now I would phrase the question in this way: How can I provide a relationship which this person may use for his own personal growth?”
